International Wine Auction

The PONCHO International Wine Auction is the auction for fabulous auction lots of unique and rare wines, from the Northwest and around the world, gourmet experiences, wine-related travel, and gourmet accessories. All in support of the arts.

New to the auction this year will be the addition of a third day of wine festivities. Join us for three exciting days (October 16 – 18) of celebration including a special wine tasting led by George Riedel himself, our fabulous Vinter's Dinner with special guests from Spottswoode Familty Estates, Mary Webe Novak and Beth Novak Milliken, which also will feature the talents of our special guests from Spain, and of course – the annual International Auction – on Saturday, where everyone finds a treasure for their collection!

This year's exciting wine auction will be an extraordinary journey for those thirsting for fine wines. Starting in our own sunny backyard, wines will span across local, national, international viticulture regions in order to bring you some of the world's best kept secrets.

Whether you are an avid wine collector, a burgeoning wine enthusiast or just developing your palate, this auction is sure to pour something for everyone. Co-chaired this year by Renée Behnke, Lauri Darneille and Dan McCarthy, you'll agree these three will bring the right blend of experience from here to Spain!

Be sure you have the date on your calendar, because you won't want to miss all that this year's auction has in store. Here are just a few exciting highlights:
- A Special Tasting Thursday, October 18 with Honored Guest George Riedel
- Winemakers and world-class chefs from Spain will wow and amaze at our Vintner's Dinner Friday, October 17
- The largest “big bottle” auction ¡Viva el Arte! - A Salute to Spain will be held on Saturday, October 18, at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.
